JULIANNE CROSS is a FORMER ADVERTISING EXECUTIVE TURNED actor, comedian, WRITER, and Award-Winning FILMMAKER.
Julianne fell in love with comedy while taking classes on nights and weekends at The Upright Citizens Brigade. Since quitting her corporate job, Julianne has been featured in comedic sketches for Above Average, Comedy Central, The New Yorker, and Funny or Die. You can spot her in numerous commercials for companies such as Snickers, Synchrony Bank, Zappos, Grammarly, eyelove, Fireball Whisky, Venmo, and SeatGeek.
The pandemic redirected Julianne to the exploration of the bittersweet and her first film, Delete, is the result. It has been screened at numerous festivals including The Big Apple Film Festival, Atlanta Shortsfest, The San Jose International Short Film Festival, and The DC Shorts International Film Festival where she was nominated for Outstanding First Time Director.
Her childhood “big break” involved playing a bumble bee in a local pet store commercial in her hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania. She’s not bitter about it, but the Blind Melon girl totally stole her thunder.
